Our Mission

We are a volunteer-run training and mentorship program. Our mission is to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in government contracting and proposals through mentorship, training, hands-on experience, and industry partnerships.

Our goal is to create a more inclusive and accessible pathway to success in the field, fostering a community of professionals equipped with the skills and knowledge to contribute to its growth and success.

Interested in Training?

ProposalTeam 101 is a 12-week training program designed to give you a foundational understanding of Government Contracting (GovCon) and Proposals. This program is structured to be completed in under 8 hours a week, and can be done in the evenings and weekends.

New classes kick-off twice a year, in January and August, but space is limited. Join our waiting list to stay informed on scheduling and availability.

Calling all Mentors!

We’re looking for industry professionals to join our team as mentors and make a lasting impact in the careers of our participants. We know you’re busy, which is why being a ProposalTeam mentor takes less than 10 hours per month, for a 3 month commitment.

As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of the GovCon/Proposal industry by guiding and supporting the next generation of professionals. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with talented individuals who will become valuable partners.

Graduates who complete our 12-week training program gain a foundational understanding of GovCon and Proposals. Our program is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in an entry-level role, including skills verification and several mock proposals.

Participants have received hands-on training, collaboration with other participants, and guidance from industry mentors, making them well-rounded and capable in their field. Not only that, but they bring a fresh perspective, have shown tremendous initiative, and a possess a willingness to learn and grow. There are all critical attributes for success in proposals.
